2021-2022 Overview (View Menus Below)

  • Sept. 17, 2021 — Traditional meals are returning to school lunch menus with a variety of options available for students in grades K-12 starting Monday, Sept. 20, in addition to yogurt, turkey, ham, and other options already on the school lunch menu. (See menus listed below for more).

Free meals for all students will continue to be offered by the Phelps-Clifton Springs Central School District during the 2021-2022 academic year through support from the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). All menu items are subject to change. Breakfast will continue to be served in a "brown bag" as always with cereal, milk, and juice.

Meanwhile, the District continues to ask eligible families to complete and return the Free and Reduced Priced School Meal Application, which determines future federal funding to support our schools and students. Again, every family should consider completing the form.

The form is available for download below. Please complete the form and return it to:

    1550 STATE ROUTE 488

Families may email the form to Swarthout at foodservice@midlakes.org. If your child has a dietary restriction, please reach out to a school nurse to document any restrictions. This information will be relayed to our food services team. Meal service will follow all applicable health and safety protocols.

The District is dedicated to ensuring that all students have access to nutritional meals. Families with questions regarding the child nutrition program at Midlakes may contact Food Service Director Jil Swarthout at (315) 548-6415 or at the above email listed.

    EBT Food Benefits

The Phelps-Clifton Springs Central School District does not administer the P-EBT food benefits program, which provides temporary benefits to households with children who would have received free school lunches under the National School Act, if not for a reduction of in-person learning due to the pandemic.
