Public Comments: Emergency Response Planning

  • The Phelps-Clifton Springs Central School District is committed to the safety and preparedness of its students, staff and visitors. Our District-Wide School Safety Plan is a comprehensive approach to crisis management and focuses on mitigation/prevention, preparedness, response, and recovery procedures.

The New York State Education Department is requiring all schools to update their District-Wide Emergency Response Plan/Safety Plan with a new procedure. This procedure is to cover an emergency created by a "Communicable Disease Event." The District has drafted this procedure and is sharing it with the public for comment as required by this new regulation.
